The Pittsburgh Steelers have a home date with the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football this weekend.

What will be different for Pittsburgh this time around is the fact that they are moving towards starting veteran quarterback Russell Wilson for the first time instead of former first-round pick Justin Fields.

Fields was very humble this week with the media when he explained that he didn’t think he deserved to be the starter because he didn’t play well enough through the team’s first six games.

NFL legend and current NFL on CBS analyst J.J. Watt is a big fan of Fields because of how he has handled himself through this.

“Man, what an answer from a guy who is 4-2 and gave them a legitimate chance to be 5-1 right now. Poise, maturity, class. Hard to not be a fan,” Watt wrote on social media Thursday.

To be fair, he led them to a 4-2 mark, which is why they are now tied with the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC North.

The former Ohio State Buckeye has recorded 10 total touchdowns and just one interception through the team’s first six games.

The potential decision to put Russell Wilson out there in a prime-time game against a hungry Jets team that just acquired Davante Adams is interesting.

But if the former Super Bowl champion can go out and play well in his first game action this season, head coach Mike Tomlin could have this team in a great spot.
