The NFL world was turned upside down when it was announced that Davante Adams requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders.
There have been rumors that Adams was unhappy with the team, but it was unclear if he’d follow up his discontentment with a legitimate trade request.
Now that this is on the books, numerous players have expressed that they’d like to play with the superstar receiver.
Adams is one of the best receivers from the past decade in the NFL and would be an instant improvement on any roster.
He has some natural ties to the New York Jets given his previous connection with Aaron Rodgers, and the two have been linked together for some time.
The Jets could be a potential destination for Adams and with Sauce Gardner’s latest social media post in mind, it’s hard to ignore what could be coming down the pipe.
As Bleacher Report called out on X, Gardner posted a photo of a hand tattoo, which showcases a child covering their mouth, indicating they are whispering.

What this means is undetermined, but if you read between the lines, it could indicate that the Jets are working behind the scenes to acquire him.
A move like this could certainly take the Jets to the next level, but it would have to make sense with their cap space, as well.
If landing Adams is a possibility, at all, then the Jets might just have to do whatever they can to land him, even if it comes at an extreme cost.
