Ukraine launched not less than 17 drones focusing on Moscow early on Sunday, forcing the short-term closure of two of the capital’s airports, Russian officers stated.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated the 12 drones have been destroyed within the Ramenskoye and Kolomensky districts of the Moscow area, in addition to in Domodedovo metropolis, southwest of Moscow.
“In accordance with preliminary data, there isn’t any injury or casualties on the website of the autumn of the particles,” Sobyanin stated on the Telegram messaging app. “Emergency companies are on the websites.”
The Ramenskoye district, some 45 km (30 miles) southeast of the Kremlin, was final focused in September Ukraine’s largest assault on the Russian capital, when Russian air defence models destroyed 20 drones.
Rosaviatsia, Russia’s federal air transport company, stated on Telegram that “to make sure the security of civil plane flights, short-term restrictions have been launched on the operation of the Domodedovo and Zhukovo airports,” beginning at 0530 GMT.
It didn’t say how lengthy the restrictions can be in pressure.
